The Bright Side

Happy Wednesday! This week is flying by for me. I've been working on redesigning the packaging inserts for Verve, which leaves me sitting in front of a computer instead of in front of my craft desk. Only one more size to go and I'm officially done with the new packaging design. Woohoo! To reward myself for pushing through, this morning I decided to take a little detour into the stamp room for a 15 minute card.

This one was so simple. The DP is from October Afternoon, and I punched the bottom with the Fiskars Threading Water border punch and then matted on some Not Quite Navy cardstock, punched with the same border. Next I stamped a butterfly from Fluttering By on Soft Sky, trimmed with scissors and then added some tiny pearls and some dot accents with a white gel pen. All of this went on a 4.25" square Soft Sky card base and I stamped the sentiment in the bottom corner and accented with a few more pearls. To finish off I tied some chocolate satin ribbon from Target up top and then added some tiny pearls to each of the flower centers in the DP. Easy peasy! :)

Well, it's back to work for me. Hope y'all have a super productive, creative day!
