Love is Kind Take Two

Hi friends! Today I'm sharing the second card I made for this week's Splitcoaststampers Sketch Challenge. I had some left over pieces as I was playing around with ideas for yesterday's card, and decided to make them into a card as well. Sometimes it's really fun to see those 1 stamp set, 2 different looks features, so I decided to post them both!

I started by stamping the solid hearts from Love Notes randomly on white card stock.  First in crimson, then in cotton candy, then in coral berry.  I also stamped a stitched circle with hearts in cotton candy, then over stamped in black with the Love sentiment.  The skinny little banner was made by masking one of the sentiment stamps and stamping in two different inks.  I added a little heart charm with a sugar pink brad as accent and layered a bit of cheesecloth beneath it all.

The card was supposed to be a regular A2, but I decided to put the scalloped border down the side for a little interest, and then had a booboo with my paper cutter when I was trimming the rest of the panel down to size.  So now the card is tall & skinny, and I like it's personality! I finished off with a satin bow up top.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Have a fabulous one!

Beautiful card. Love the heart background and the border you added. The pretty red bow is a great accent.
