Lovely Mojo

Hi friends! It's Monday again and time for a brand new Mojo Monday sketch. I think this might be the first card in a long time I didn't do any distressing on.  Straight edges and crisp black mats with some colorful papers and a pretty verse.

I started with the Philippians 4:8 verse from the Potter's Clay set, stamping it in black on cream card stock, then stamping the big flower around the edges in tangerine tango and melon mambo.  Next I layered a few papers from the Believe collection, matting with black, and then adding a bit of wide striped ribbon.  My only embellishment is the butterfly punch and a couple rhinestones for its body.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you have a wonderful start to your week.

Gorgeous card and colors, and this is a very special verse for me. It was one that my mom's pastor gave her as she was battling breast cancer that eventually she succumbed to. But she's with the Lord now. So I especially love this card and love the crisp black matting. Beautifully done! Hugs!
