Birthday Bots Viva la Verve

Hi friends! It's time for a new sketch over at Viva la Verve!  Lesley is our hostess this week with a fun sketch with a large panel perfect for all sorts of stampy goodness.

Card by Julee Tilman featuring Verve Stamps. www.poeticartistry.blogspot.com

My boys have a birthday party to go to next weekend, so the sketch was the perfect opportunity to pull out my favorite little Birthday Bots and do some coloring with prismacolors and gamsol.  I sketched in a bit of floor for him and colored him in my boys' favorite colors... orange and blue.  I kept things simple, since it's going to a 4 year old, so a bit of Cosmo Cricket paper from way way back and an Award Banner Trim die cut with white gel pen accents finish things off.

Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you have a fabulous start to the weekend!

What a perfect card for a lil feller! Seeing your robot makes me want to dig into my stamps coz I know I have a robot set somewhere in there! I like the colors you used and that you chose ones that are his faves, how thoughtful.

Thanks for commenting on my blog Julee - AHEM - and a big blush, I totally hit the "reject comment' button by mistake and there is no way to retrieve it :( Just so you know - sheesh. Has this ever happened to you? I totally appreciate your visit though!

Happy creating!

Such a cute card! I have boys and they would have loved this when they were little!
