Happy Everything Card Concept 52

Hi friends!  Happy Wednesday!  We're celebrating the 2nd anniversary of The Card Concept with today's challenge and it's a beautiful inspiration piece filled with lots to get your creative juices flowing. To celebrate, there will be a few random prize drawings from the challenge linkups for gift certificates to Verve and Sugar Pea Designs.

I was so inspired by the french script in the graphic and the neutral color palette that I had to sift through my paper drawers to find just the perfect match... a design from the Conservatory collection by 7 Gypsies.  I cut it to card size, then distressed with antique linen and vintage photo inks.

Next I chose a coordinating book text paper and stamped the two sized flowers from Simply Amazing on it three times, cutting each with the coordinating Simply Daisies Die Set and then inking with the same colors of distress ink.  I also cut some daisies from early espresso card stock, then layered them all up on dimensionals and dressed each flower with a little bling for the center.

A half cut of a gold doily down the side adds a touch of elegance, and I continued the look with a vellum overlay embossed with the happy everything sentiment.  Then it was time for a seam binding double bow up top and a few rough edges to all the layers. So much fun!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  I hope you'll take a bit of time to head on over to The Card Concept and see what beauties all the other designers came up with for this special anniversary.
