Happy World Card Making Day

Hi friends!  Happy Saturday!  It's World Card Making Day, which makes it the official start to the holiday card making season.  For my first  holiday card of the year, I decided to pull out my favorite set from last year's winter release... Merry Wishes.

The Making Of:
I started off with the Viva La Verve October Week 1 sketch in mind.  The prize up for grabs this month for participating in all of the October sketches is a $100 gift certificate to Verve!  Woohoo!  I've been wanting to use this gorgeous Lost & Found Christmas paper for a while, so I went with a classic Christmas design and tried to keep things pretty simple.  The berry sprigs are stamped around the circle, then colored with Copics and highlighted with a white gel pen.  A little shadow stamping along the right side with the solid berries completes the theme and I finished off with a double bow of seam binding.

I hope you're having a wonderful World Card Making Day and get a chance to ink something up!  Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Enabler's List:
Stamps: Merry Wishes (Verve Stamps)
Paper: Lost & Found Christmas (MME), brown paper bag (Paper Accents)
Ink: Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso (SU!), Antique Linen, Vintage Photo (Ranger Distress), Copic Markers, Signo white gel pen
Accessories: Classic & Scallop Circle Nestabilities (Spellbinders), Wavy edge punch (EK Success), seam binding ribbon (SU!)

Julee, this is so pretty, very vintage looking. Love the papers and that bow! Is it hard to make those double bows, mine never turn out like that!!
