Concord Pizazz

If you're looking for my Anni-VERVE-sary Blog Hop post, {click here}

Welcome to another week! It's the first Monday in August, so that means it's a Mojo Monday contest week! And this week's sketch is straight from dreamland. That's right, I had a dream about making a card with this layout and immediately drew it out when I woke up!  Now that's the kind of dreamin' I need to do a lot more of!  :)

I had so much fun using Fancy Florals and Thoughtful Florals (both 30% off during our 3..2..1..SALE!)  for my blog hop project that I decided to make another card with these two sets.  The colors are new in-colors....  pear pizazz and concord crush.  Sounds like the makings of a great cocktail!  :)  Anyhow, the DSP is from the little hostess pack of designer papers and I did a little embossing with a QuicKutz large polka dot folder that matches the size of the polka dots in the paper pretty well.  The flowers (one from Fancy Florals, and a tiny one from Thoughtful Florals) are stamped on DSP and then cut out and layered.  I used my new iRock hotfix tool (one of the birthday goodies I bought myself) to attach the rhinestones directly to the ribbon and the center of the flower.  I've used hotfix tools before with much frustration, but this one is cordless and super simple, and there's no need to change nozzles for every size of rhinestone.  I'm a FAN - especially since I got mine at Michael's with a coupon!  :)

Okay, enough yapping.  Thanks for stopping by today!  Hope you have a chance to check out the Anni-VERVE-sary blog hop if you haven't already.  You have until Wednesday night to get your comments in to be eligible for prizes, so there's still plenty of time to join in!

What's In It?
Stamps: Thoughtful Florals, Fancy Florals (Verve Stamps)
Paper: In-Color DSP, Pear Pizazz, Concord Crush (SU!)
Ink: Concord Crush, Pear Pizazz (SU!)
Accessories: Dotted Wave punch (EK Success), Round-it-all (Zutter), iRock hotfix tool and crystals (Imaginisce), Circle punches, Concord Crush Stitched Poly Ribbon (SU!), polka dot embossing folder (QuicKutz), White Opal Liquid Pearls (Ranger)
