Happy St. Patrick's Day

I'm back again with my second post for the day. Tonight we're headed out with some friends for our 2nd annual St. Patrick's Day dinner at a local pub. Then we're going to do one of my most favorite things in the world... put a jigsaw puzzle together! What an exciting night! LOL I searched my wardrobe high and low last night and couldn't find one stitch of green clothing. I remember trying to buy a blouse earlier this year that was green and Mark telling me, "Honey, that's NOT a good color on you." LOL - who knew men could be so helpful? In his defense, it was a really good papercrafting color, but probably a little too yellow-green for my complexion. :) So, I'm going to cheat and bead myself a little green bracelet this afternoon to go with an aqua sweater (that's almost green, right?) and black shell.

Since I was thinking about aqua, green and black, those colors ended up as the basis for my card for the Waltzingmouse St. Patrick's Day Blog Hop. The hop list is located on this thread on the WMS forum. {I'm not sure, but you might have to register to see it, but Claire's such fun, you won't regret hanging out there!}

When I saw Claire's free St. Patrick's Day digital stamp set, I just couldn't wait to print it out and color all those shamrocks! Such a fun image. I combined it with a few stamps from the Celtic Heritage set, to tie it all together. And I added some really wonky stitching, a little gingham ribbon and those Fountain Fun corner punches I'm loving so much lately. Okay, that's all for now folks. If you're hopping, head back to the March Blog Hop Links thread for the next hop.

What's in it?
Stamps: Celtic Heritage, St. Patrick's Day Digital Freebie (Waltzingmouse Stamps)
Paper: Soft Sky, Black (SU!), White (Neenah), Lucky DP_ (Little Yellow Bicycle)
Ink: Onyx Black (Versafine), Soft Sky (SU!), Copic markers
Accessories: Fountain Fun Corner Punch (EK Success), Circle punches and modern label punch (SU!), Petite Ovals Nestabilities (Spellbinders), gingham ribbon, Janome sewing machine, mixture of diamond glaze and glitter for center of shamrocks

Your card is simply stunning Julie! The only thing green I had to wear today has long sleeves and it's supposed to be 88 degrees for a high temp here today. Have fun with your puzzle later, Happy St. Patrick's Day!
