Abundance of Glitter

This week's sketch is good for using up some leftover scraps. I love this My Mind's Eye paper, so I couldn't let the scraps on my desk go to waste. I just stitched them together, then layered onto a piece of Kraft cardstock that I embossed with a Sizzix embossing folder. For the focal circle I stamped the frame from Accent Notes on Kraft then colored with a Copic marker. Next I stamped the two smaller flowers in Abundant Blessings on the aqua paper, added some highlights with a Copic marker, then cut out, layered, and smothered with a nice coating of a mixture of diamond glaze and dazzling diamonds. It looks fuzzy in the picture, but it's so sparkly in real life!

Next I made a little ribbon embellishment with a satin bow, a button and a jewelry tag punch. The for you sentiment is part of the "so jazzed for you" sentiment in Uplifting Phrases. I coated this in the glitter glaze too, then added a few chocolate pearls for accent. To finish it all off, I embellished the dots on the paper and the dots on the stamped frame with some liquid pearls.
