Mojo Hospitality

Hello! Welcome to another week! Today we're back to our regularly schedule once a week mojo posts and I'm looking forward to a week of unscripted creating! Hooray! Be sure to hop on over to the Mojo blog to see this week's sketch and all the beautiful cards from the mojo team.

The Verve Project Parade kicks off today, too. This month's theme is Happiness for Hostesses, and I can't wait to see all the hostess gifts and cards the Divas will be sharing over the next few weeks. Tune in each weekday, and be sure to play along for a chance to win!

In keeping with the hostess theme, I made today's mojo card with the Romans 12:13 plain jane that just released. I stamped the verse and one of the flower duos from Budding Blossoms with Chocolate Chip Craft ink and embossed in clear. Next I colored the flowers with Copic markers, sponged around the edges with Vintage Photo distress ink and then cut out one extra flower and popped up on the side. The papers are all from the Rustic stack by DCWV and are sponged, stitched and matted with chocolate chip. The bottom layer is pumpkin pie, also sponged and stitched, then I added some wide satin ribbon, orange peel stickles, chocolate pearls and a Tim Holtz photo corner for accent. The finished card measures 5.25" square.

What's In It?
Stamp: Romans 12:13 Plain Jane, Budding Blossoms (Verve Stamps)
Paper: Chocolate Chip, Pumpkin Pie (SU!), Rustic Stack (DCWV)
Ink: Chocolate Chip Craft (SU!), Vintage Photo (Ranger Distress), Copic markers
Accessories: sewing machine, orange peel stickles, photo corner (Tim Holtz), chocolate pearls (Kaiser Craft), chocolate satin ribbon (SU!)
