Fleur de Lis Thanks

Hey everybody! I hope you had a wonderful start to your week. Mercy's back with her weekly Tuesday sketches on her blog! Hooray! I'm a little behind, so my card actually uses last week's sketch {MTSC32}. But be sure to check out this week's sketch here. I already had the fleur de lis oval piece stamped, cut and matted from a previous project that didn't work out, so I decided to flip the sketch to make it work.

I drew my colors from the Tiffany's collection by We R Memory Keepers and cut and matted my pieces with Chocolate Chip. I added a little shading with a sponge and Melonberry Mambo ink to all the pink panels and stamped and added a little sentiment piece with the curvy label punch and the thanks sentiment from Circular Sayings. All the fleur de lis come from the Kindred Spirits set, and I used a Copic marker to lightly shade around the dotted circle and inner fleur de lis. The ribbon is American Crafts and I added a little photo corner up top just for the fun of it. To finish off with pizazz, I painted on some sparkle with a mixture of diamond glaze and glitter.

I do have another card over on the Verve Blog today, along with my Divine Details write-up about my design process, so hop on over.

What's In It?
Stamps: Circular Sayings, Kindred Spirits (Verve Stamps)
Paper: Chocolate Chip (SU!), Tiffany's Collection (We R Memory Keepers)
Ink: Melonberry Mambo, Chocolate Chip, Pretty in Pink (SU!)
Accessories: Fleur de lis border punch (EK Success), Curly Label and photo corner punch (SU!), striped ribbon (American Crafts), glitter, Diamond Glaze, sponge

**sigh** Julee, this is A*Mazing! And there is that oval shape in the rectangle that I think is so brilliant! :-) One of the best things about your cards (aside from the sponging) is all the yummy sparkle you add!!
