Christmas Eve is here already! I hope y'all are enjoying family, friends and good times this holiday season. Our family circuit begins tonight with Christmas Eve Dinner with my Dad's extended family, then tomorrow for Christmas lunch with my parents and Christmas Dinner with Mark's parents. I still have a couple handmade gifts I'm working on this morning and then the cookie mill (as Mark refers to it) begins. :)
I liked the Mojo sketch so much this week that I made a pretty much identical card to my Monday card, except I used the SU! Holiday Treasures papers and a pink, red and chocolate color combo. I also made a matching little rounded basket box to stuff a few of my molasses sugar cookies in. The template can be found on this SCS thread. I made mine using Pink Pirouette cardstock, then cut a slightly smaller section of Holiday Treasures paper for each side and secured together with Riding Hood Red Taffeta. I used a Classic Circle Nestabilities for the stamped focal point, masking the poinsettias from Poinsettia Christmas and stamping in Pink Pirouette and Riding Hood Red. The Holiday Cheer sentiment is from the Ornamental Christmas set, and I added 3 red rhinestones below for a little bling. I used the nestability die as a stencil, to add some Pink Pirouette sponging around the inside of the circle, then matted with a Scallop Circle Nestability in chocolate chip.
The card is pretty much the exact same as Monday's card. The sentiment is from Ornamental Christmas and I stamped on Pearlized white cardstock and colored with Copics. And I finished off with some Liquid Pearl accents and riding hood red taffeta.
I wish you all a happy and safe holiday! Merry Christmas!
This blog is for personal inspiration only and all projects are my original designs unless otherwise stated. I own Verve Stamps and have received products and materials to work with from several generous companies over the years. While I have received free products from these companies, I maintain the freedom as an independent designer to say what I truly think of their products. I will never recommend something that I don’t personally use and enjoy.
