Happy Tuesday! Today I have my take on this week's Mojo Monday sketch for you. I wanted to use my new Tangerine Tango ink pad (thanks Lisa!) and thought I'd pull out So Many Scallops since I've barely used it and it's about to head to the big stamp retirement home in the sky.
I started by stamping the flower in Tangerine Tango and then punching out with my SU! scallop punch. Next I punched a 1/4" hole in the center and set a jumbo eyelet in the center with my Crop-a-dile. To give it a little sparkle I added an orange rhinestone in the opening of the eyelet. Next I focused on my horizontal panel. I knew I wanted to use the chocolate swiss dot pattern on the back of one of the Bella Rose papers, so I cut a strip and then took a piece of Tangerine Tango and scored two lines up top with my Scor-Pal to give it kind of a crimped effect. Next I made a scalloped border with my slit punch and glued it to the bottom of the piece of Bella rose and added some smaller rhinestones for sparkle. To finish off I used the "letterpress" or reverse embossing with ink technique using the Textile Cuttlebug folder and Tangerine Tango ink for the card base. I finished off with a Chocolate taffeta ribbon.
I've got some more birthday RAKS to share and some pics of the new toys hubby got me for my birthday, but my camera battery died before I was finished with the photo shoot, so they'll have to wait until tomorrow. Have a fantastic day everyone! :)

I love this card!! I love all the shading you did on the scallop!! I'm a shading kind of gal ;) The inky cuttlebug is still something I have to try, I'm waiting on my new folders (b-day present). I hope your's was great, can't wait to see your goodies!
This is gorgeous! I really need to try that letterpress technique. I've seen people do it with chalk inks, but I don't have any (and honestly, don't need any). I thought there must be a way to do it with the SU pads, and you showed me there is! Woot! :) Love the colors you used too!
So pretty! I love love love it!
Hi Julee.... such a pretty card!! I love your color combo, this looks like a little girls dress.
Anyways, wanted to tell ya that I have a challenge going on, and I've used one of your sketches for it. I hope you like what I and the rest of the Little C's DT came up with... Here's my posting:
