Thankful Blossoms

Today I've got a simple card for y'all. This one took me all of 10 minutes, but I love how it turned out. It's about as close to one layer stamping as I get. This is the third set that Verve will be releasing tomorrow and is called Thankful Blossoms. For this card I used three stamps from the new set.

I started by stamping the large open flower in Versafine Onyx black in the center of a 4 x 5.25" piece of white cardstock and colored with Copic markers. Next I stamped the curvy stem stamp on either side of the flower and trimmed along it and around just the top half of the flower with scissors. I then stamped the thank you sentiment in the corner and glued this to a Grayson Hall journal card by Collage Press. I finished by tying a knotted pomegranate satin bow across the panel and adhering to a Purely Pomegranate card base. A little Cotton Candy stickles accents on the petals and voila - a card was born!

If you want to see more, be sure to check out the fabulous samples Bethany, Kim and Shannan have posted on the Verve Blog today. You can buy this set, along with Easter Elegance and Anniversary Birds, starting tomorrow - March 1! Happy Friday, everyone! Have an awesome weekend!
