Cat's Pajamas Party!!!

The Cat's Pajamas Summer Designs are now up on the website! Get your shopping finger ready and click away... the coolest cat in town is ready for summer with thirty new designs to help you get your groove on! To get this party started, I thought I'd share a couple cards I made with one of my new favorites... introducing Hula Cat!

I stamped Hula Cat in Coal Black and colored in with Prismacolors and Gamsol. Next I sketched a frame around the circle and matted on two scalloped circles with holes pierced in each scallop. I used a large corner rounder for the large panels and a smaller corner rounder for the Hot Stuff tab.

Stamps: The Cat’s Pajamas - Hula Cat {F-7463 }, Hot Stuff {C-7464}
Paper: Arctic Frog – Flower Show Lilly Pad; DCWV Spring Stack; Conqueror Diamond White Cardstock
Ink: Ancient Page - Coal Black; Prismacolor pencils, Sakura Stardust Gel Pens
Accessories: Primas, Brads, Paper Piercer, Giga & Mega Scalloped Circle punch, Super Jumbo Circle punch, corner rounders

For the second card I started by stamping Hula Cat on Pearlized white paper and coloring with prismacolor pencils and gamsol. I dotted around the circle and matted on a mega and giga scalloped circle, with a large square turned like a diamond between the two layers for a little visual interest. The thanks diecut and the swirl embossing on the background was done with my well-loved Cuttlebug and I added some flower punches from my neglected Spring Bouquet flower punch. Topped off with rhinestone flowers and Stickles accents, this cat is ready to hula!

Stamps: The Cat’s Pajamas - Hula Cat {F-7463 }
Paper: Pixie Pink, Gable Green, Passion Pink, Pearlized White

Ink: Ancient Page - Coal Black; Prismacolor pencils
Accessories: Spring Bouquet Flower punch, Cuttlebug Olivia alphabet die, Cuttlebug D'Vine Swirls embossing folder, Doodlebug ribbon, Stickles, Rhinestone flowers from JoAnn's
