Bloomin Butterflies

I am really loving my new Tsukineko Essential Glue Pad. A whole new world of glitter possibilities has just opened up! And you know me... everything's better with glitter! :) Today's card is made with a set my DSS (Divine Secret Sister) Maureen sent me at the end of the last round. Thanks Maureen, I am really having fun with it.

I started by inking up the butterfly from Reason to Smile with Pretty in Pink ink and then inked around the edges and body center with VersaMagic Perfect Plumeria chalk ink. Next I stamped on Pearlized White paper and overstamped with my Tsukineko Glue pad and covered with Dazzling Diamonds. I then doodled a frame around the edges and colored the outside of the frame with my Pretty in Pink Stampin Write marker.

Next I stamped the sentiment in Ancient Page Coal Black, doodled a frame and matted on Basic Black. I then stamped the flower stamp from the set with VersaMagic Pixie Dust chalk ink on Basic Black and tied a May Arts light pink bow around the black piece. The patterned paper is from Daisy D's Spring Blossom pack. The sentiment is on thin pop dots and the pearls are Making Memories Gem stickers.

This is beautiful! I bought some of the glue a few weeks ago, and only have used it once since. After seeing this, I'll have to take it out and try it again. Thanks for sharing!

So what you're saying Julee is that if you love glitter, you should DEFINATELY purchase the glue pad?

Beautiful card! Love the soft pretty colors!

Very pretty! Looks very "Mothers Day" appropriate!

I've heard rumor that SU is going to carry the glue pad in the next catalog, so I am waiting to see before I buy it..... Yet another bit of enabling.....
