Scrappy Gift Set

I've been seeing all these cool projects lately and have been printing them out and setting them on my desk. The only problem is, the stack of projects to try is becoming overwhelming! Today I made it my mission to try at least two. I got the instructions for the really cool post-it note holder from the Running With Scissors blog. The paperclip tutorial by Beth Silaika was highlighted in last week's SCS newsletter.

I used the Sweet Nothings Collection by A2Z Essentials again and stamped the same Rhonna Farrer flower stamp and added a rhinestone center to match the card I made yesterday. I found the big paperclip at OfficeMax, but they are cheaper at Wal-Mart if you can find them. (My store always happens to be out of stock!) The bigger scallops are patterned paper punched with my Mega Scalloped circle punch. I layered a Bazzill chipboard circle covered with another patterned paper in the center and then added a cuttlebug die flower and a clear rhinestone flower from the JoAnn's $1 bin. The backside is identical. I finished off with some May Arts sheer polka dot ribbons.

The pen is just coordinating paper backed with Terrifically Tacky Tape and rolled around the barrel of an RSVP pen.
