Dot-a-riffic!

I finally got a chance to do one of the SCS challenges again. I used to do them almost daily, but life has been getting in the way recently. This one is for Sketch Challenge 114. I used some of the delicious paper that I got in my Self-Addressed kit of the month today. It is from the Homemade Collection by We R Memory Keepers.

I thought the paper matched Bodacious Bouquet really well so I stamped the flowers in Cranberry Crisp and Bordering Blue on Whisper White. I then rounded the corners and inked the edges with Chocolate Chip ink and a sponge. Next I layered on Cranberry Crisp and tied some stitched grosrain around the panels. I cut a strip of the white patterned paper and layered onto Bordering Blue Cardstock and tied a ribbon with a slider (it says happy day) around with Terrifically Tacky Tape.

I then stamped and cut out the bodacious flower, dotted around it with my black glaze pen and attached with a pop dot to the flower panel. I dotted the bordering blue mat and then glued everything down to a piece of the brown patterned paper with notched corners. For the finishing touch I added sparkle to the flower centers with Dazzling Diamonds and Crystal Effects.

Hey! ENABLER! I went to the scrap store today..... Not only did I get the Stella Ruby paper I went in looking for, but got the matching fibers and several OTHER new papers too.... I actually think I like the Phoebe and Perhaps colors better than Stella..... And some Stickles.... and a couple other goodies.....
